Our Vineyard

Our estate vineyard is located in a remote area of the Chehalem Valley at the end of a winding gravel road. A boutique array of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay (Robert Young and Wente clones) grapes is planted on a hillside nestled in a forest of Douglas Fir. The east to west rolling terrain, combined with a 750ft elevation, creates a unique environment and terroir for the wine grown here. One family manages the vineyard by hand, along with friends and colleagues who are committed to the care necessary to produce a fine wine. Each one of our plants is meticulously maintained throughout the growing season to ensure the best possible clusters are available at harvest.

Farming Practices

All our farming standards strive to be three things: organic, biodynamic, and sustainable. That means we do not utilize synthetic herbicides, pesticides or genetically modified organisms (GMOs). We do not use any type of soil treatment, irrigation or fertilizer and instead we apply naturally occurring sulfur and lime to manage disease pressure. We are working towards our USDA organic certification for both our wine and vineyard. All our water management practices are considered Salmon Safe by the State of Oregon.
